Let’s get you connected.
Classroom Cam works best when the iPhone and computer are connected to the same ordinary Wi-Fi network.
Set up a camera
- Connect the iPhone and computer to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Open classroomcam.noahmoberg.com on the computer.
- Open Classroom Cam on the iPhone and tap Scan browser code.
- Allow camera access, then scan the private QR code shown in the browser.
If camera permission was denied
Open the iPhone’s Settings app, choose Apps → Classroom Cam, enable Camera, then return to Classroom Cam and scan again.
If the devices do not connect
- Confirm both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network, not one on Wi-Fi and one on cellular.
- Avoid guest networks. School and enterprise Wi-Fi may use client isolation, which prevents devices on the same network from communicating directly.
- Turn off a VPN or restrictive firewall temporarily and try again.
- Close the old browser tab, reopen the receiver, and scan the new code.
- Make sure the QR code has not expired; unused codes expire after ten minutes.
Network limitationClassroom Cam does not use a relay server. Networks that block peer-to-peer or UDP traffic may not be compatible.
